COO in his conference call a week ago said 75 for the year and maybe 40 maybe for 117. Rob is a joke too? Classes are scheduled in the sense they are on the schedule and that means nothing in terms of actual hiring.

Do you always fly to the Alternate because it is planned on the release?

Still trolling Manti!

Sounds like management needs to get on the same page since Sandy said 150 in his e-mail.

More interviews tomorrow, too, and that's ahead of the application window opening.

There are lots of FACTS there for your review.

This is a good job I enjoy coming to work here. I am absolutely terrified that any one of my family members could suffer from and injury or illness that will bankrupt us.

Do your own research and decide if a career here is what is good for you or your family. There will be LOTS of hiring occuring soon and the retirement numbers at the legacies dont lie. We have less than 10 retirements over the next 3 years

Also remember that your previous regional job SUCKED and the chemical makeup in your brain has convinced you that life was okay there. The shiny new jet and blue shirt will release a mass buildup of endorphins. That goes away bafter 10-15 years of slinging gear here.

Are newhires being type-rated in the RJ or A320? I'm thinking if it's worth applying or not and then going elsewhere.

Thanks...

I'll keep looking then. Good luck to those who choose Jetblue.

I believe Spirit and Virgin America both give PIC types for newhires, good luck

Whoa, JetBlue doesn't type you? Is this for both the E190 and A320? Both SIC only? Yes, as of right now, both Spirit and VX give PIC types for newhires.
