This video is for the hard core airplane buff; no interviews or narration. Just pure speed and sound! And the sound of a P-51 Mustang flying by is something you'll never forget. It has a huge 12 cylinder engine turning a large four bladed propeller and, in fighting trim, these planes were capable of achieving a speed of nearly 500 miles per hour. We saw these two planes at a small air show in Marina, California and were treated to a rare showing of these beautiful, 60 year old machines.
