AWAC in CLT?

Heard that AWAC was opening a CLT pilot domicle.... any truth to this?

CLT is PSA base. Besides AWAC loves Philly, DC and ORF too much. LOL, Just kidding guys!!

Training base

CLT is opening as a managment pilot base for the training center. It is not a very popular decision among the instructor ranks. They are disolving the current system of line pilots and making them all move to CLT as full time instructor pilots on the Managment list. That is probably where the rumor generated from.

They will replace Piedmont Dash routes with the CRJ.

What do you mean "will". My buddy works for PDT and was based in CLT. He keeps telling me he sees less and less Dash 8's in CLT. I've been to EWN, CHO, TYS, CHA a whole lot lately. These used to be mostly Dash 8 runs.
