Hey Y'all, someone know the answers to these questions, anyone, anyone...

1. How much is 1st, 2nd, 3rd year pay?

2. How long does training take: ground, sim,...

3. How long until family can get passes on AWA, and others.

Thanks,
Juan Carlos, new guy starting class soon.

For the pay question, check out airlinepilotpay.com. If you are a new guy starting class soon, wouldn't you ALREADY have this information? If you are starting, what aircraft did you get - Airbus?

Just interviewed yesterday, got job, so happy, forgot to ask the pay rate, no airplanes assigned yet, class either Oct 18th or in November, also how many weeks vacation?

Juan Carlos

Airlinepilotpay.com has the answer for your pay question. During training you get something like 88 hrs guaranteed so you actually make more (guranteed) in training then you do when you first get on line.

Pass privileges start 15 days after your first day in class.

One month of pure ground school, Indoc and systems. Couple weeks of fixed based sim and a couple more weeks of sim work. Figure on 2 to 2.5 months from start of class to IOE. Sim scheduling is tight and if a sim goes down for mx, it muffs the whole schedule up.

Wow - great job! I hear most pilots will get Airbus but I am sure they will have a random 737-300 or 757 class out there. Love those side-sticks....

Actually it is an average of the current month line values. So yeah you'll have a higher guarantee... Some months are better than others;)

See ya on the line

Help! Help! Help!

Hello friendly Cacti. I got the call today for an interview on the 30th. I've had my app in 4 months with 1 letter of recommend. I plan to sim prep @ K&S but I'm looking for the interview gouge. Please help with any and all info about the company pro and con and PM me with the interview gouge. Thanks!

Metro

Congrats on the interview! Aviationinterviews.com will have what you are looking for. As far as the latest company stuff just do a quick search on this board and americawest.com and that should get you pretty up to speed...;)
