does anyone have the k&s gouge info? i know they give you something before you do your sim prep. i am not trying to hose k&s just trying to be prepared. pm me if you have it or any interview experiences( i know about aviationinterviews.com) thanks in advance

Having just gone through the whole process, I'll tell you this. The value in the preparation at K&S is not in the gouge they give you. You can find that in any general interview books, or the gouge websites out there. The same stuff is on Aviationinterviews.com for that matter. What makes K&S invaluable is the sim prep. The only way to get that is to go do it. Ralph is a great instructor. My sim ride went great, but without the prep the night before, I don't think I would have passed. I've talked to some very experienced and capable pilots that all passed the sim ride, and everyone agreed they probably wouldn't have without the prep. It's not hard at all, just one of those things that you have to do a couple of times to get the hang of it. Unless you have access to, and are regularly flying a 737 sim and can already do the "weave", go do the prep. They even tell you that at AWA. The sim ride carries a lot of weight, and is the first thing you do. If you blow it, it doesn't matter how much gouge you have, or how you can wow them in the interview, bacause you ain't gettin' that far. $400 isn't cheap, but if you want the job it is. I'll also echo what they tell you in the gouge. When you do make it to the interview, you don't have to be perfect, but you do have to be yourself. DON'T overprepare. Good luck whatever you decide.
