AWA FA Killed in Motorcycle Accident

For those on the board that are AWA employees, Geri Snodgrass, C0061, (AWA Flight Attendant) was killed, along with her husband, in a motorcycle accident over the weekend. Geri was a part of Class 1 that started the airline in 1983 and a real class act. She was a real advocate for the FAs, serving on the scheduling committee for AFA. She will be missed.

If anyone cares, when I find out the funeral arrangements, I will post the information.

The real sad part is that she and her husband have an adult child with disabilities that they have cared for all these years. Not sure what is going to happen there. If they set up an account for the care of the child, I will be sure to post that on here in case anyone wants to make a donation.

I was keeping on top of this information until my dad went in for emergency surgery. Here is the obituary. I missed her memorial which makes me sad. Her daughter they were taking care of died a few years ago, so there is no need for an account.


However, they do ask that donations be made to the diabetes foundation in the obituary.
