According to an AVRO instructor in the training dept in MSP and take this for whats its worth ( hopefully nothing). The AVRO sim will be de commisioned by Sept 06 and the flying for MEM will be shift predom. to the northern cities, ie DTW and MSP. He was told that he would be returned to the line fulltime and would be able at a later date to position himself for saab instructing possibly. I could only confirm this by noticing that the AVRO flight schedules are no longer lister after June 2006 on the NWA site as they usually are. Anyone Else come across this rumour yet or anything pertaining to it.

Beth, in scheduling, told me that the last recurrent class for the Avro is in July... So this all seems pretty legit...

I'm so sorry guys, I really hate that for ya'll. There's some ex Saab guys in my crashpad and its a damn shame what they've been doing to ya'll. XJT is still hiring.

Too bad for Beth. Spanjers will have to fire her at the end of the day for providing information that will allow crew members to move forward. Foley will have to back up the termination of Beth as that would be a unique way to improve Mesaba's cost controlling measures and improving the people and processes aspect of the airline to make it competitive for bidding new NWA flying.

MJ in MEM confirmed same when I spoke to her last week. She said that she couldn't find any Avro flying from MEM either...

That sux. But I win the dollar bet with my wife that MEM would be the next to fall. How many more furloughs will this create?
