This post is so old that I've gotten older, mellowed out, and now feel bad for calling this guy a moron or "dude" 10 years ago. Sorry man hope things worked out.

With my experience in this here aviation industry, this idiot is most likely a 777 or Airbus captain now.

It really sounds like someone tried to do aerobatics who didn’t know what they were doing. Remember the hawker that was intentionally rolled and looked like an accordion? Pictures of the actual damage directly caused by the lightning would clear up the incident lol
