When I was there, it was A.J. Caruso (or one of the Caruso brothers.....It's been a while!)

Gotta love ol' A. J.

Anyone remember Precision and NERA (NW Airlink carriers with hub in BOS)

If there are any NWA Skyling (Saab 340) pilots here, we've probably bumped each other of the frequencies.

I am doing my training at London, Canada. (CYXU), which is half way between toronto and detroit. I see the bright red Saabs here all the time, and I always wonder if any of the pilots are members here.

Vegas

If anybody is in Vegas drop me a line. However I'm moving back east in two weeks to start a new job.

In PWM there's still an old towbar behind a hangar that bears the Precision brand. One of their old rampers was my ramper boss for a while, and I was repeatedly cautioned about the lady who walked into a running Garrett while disconnecting a GPU in BOS. Had the opportunity to fly with "the family" a few times.

Small world

Indeed, I gave Falcon Capt. a stage check at Riddle fourteen years ago. He, JetPilot500 and I enjoyed great Mexican on a dreadfully snowy evening in late October, 2002.

Skyking1976, his lovely wife, my wife and I got together in December for BBQ at Brothers' BBQ near APA. We had BBQ at Bennett's before. Skyking called me at work that day he lost one near PUB.

Another member from whom we haven't heard in a while, Bulldog, and I got together for lunch at APA just over a year ago. He sat me down in a 172 at his FBO. He very nearly hooked me!

Another member, UALX727, was one of my CFI students at Riddle. He instructed, went on to Mesaba, stayed for years, and then got on with United as a 727 FO.

I'm in Denver. Just let me know if you come to town. My weekdays suck, but I usually have good availability on either weekend day. P-F-T proponents and college opponents are welcome. :)

Not the end of the world...

...but you can see it from here.

Fairbanks. The last stop on Dan/CFI and Ditch Driver's excellent adventure.

After I got off work last night I had the pleasure of grabbing a bite to eat with these two intrepid job searchers.

The whole experience reminded me of myself more than 10 years ago coming to Alaska for the first time in hopes of finding a little adventure and a regular paycheck.

Later today I'll show them around the Six and wish them the best of luck in their job search.

Are the only 2 that I have shaken hands with. Box are you still flying checks around the sky? If any of you guys are around southeast AK give me a yell.
PS bring some girls with you, there is no tang in PAJN.

And what a tour it was!

mar rules! Next time, the beer is on me, and ain't no way out of that.
Totally awesome.

Billy, I'll holler if I'm heading that way.
