Average per diem

Thanks for the responses.

Company's growing and freaking out at the new expenses. More pilots, more meals, hotels, etc... and bigger credit card bill.

Trying for $2.19 per hour. Used the GSA daily per diem and got an average. But based on what was posted above sounds like we might be selling ourselves short.

A good resourse would be NetJets. They pretty much always stay at the average.

I believe it is now at $52.00/day.

PS more airplanes should mean more profit ... right?

$50 per day domestic, no limit international (whatever is reasonable, whatever that means?). Hotels, usually Hilton, Marriott or Crown Plaza properties.

Per Diem

Ours is $44 per day domestic, $75 international.

Hasn't changed in 4 years.

Hotels are what they cost. Just because there is a conviention in town or we are in HNL over New Year's does not mean that we are going change the hotel (my comfort) just to make it "cheaper."

Food is what it is. Just try not turn in too many Smith and Wolinsky receipts! (only when we go to Vegas!)

I know you are going to think I am crazy but I had one of the worst meals I can remember at the Smith and Wolinsky's in Vegas. I could not believe I actually paid for that crap.

Is it just me or does it seem that the per diem, or reimbursement for expenses, never makes back into the 'ol bank account?
Thank god I work for a corporation that issues corporate credit cards!
