Anyone out there with Avantair info/experience? I've talked to a few crews, seem to be more or less happy, just wondering about the basics: Duty day length, upgrade time,F/O actual annual pay (w perdiems etc.) PIC pay?(what could you top out at?), also range of operations during the "7.5 day"- on rotation. Are you all over the country, or do you stay kind of regional during your week. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

Pretty sad thread, replying to myself! but.. updating my questions if anyone out ther has info, I've gotten some of my own questions answered.

1. Training pay?
2. Length of training?
3. Jumpseat? (anyone)
4. Is the P180 type rated?
5. Are SIC's upgrading in a year or so as told by HR?
6. Flying legs (alternating/non rev legs) i.e. do F/O's fly half the time?

Thanks

1. Training pay? - per diem during training
2. Length of training? - Aprox 3 weeks
3. Jumpseat? (anyone) - no agreements
4. Is the P180 type rated? - No
5. Are SIC's upgrading in a year or so as told by HR? - Yes
6. Flying legs (alternating/non rev legs) i.e. do F/O's fly half the time? - Yes

Thanks - your welcome

correction: they pay per diem only during ground training aproximately 13 days $625.00 - they pay for transportation and hotel

then you are on salary during flight training for aproximately 8 days all done in the aircraft until FSI finishes building a sim (due in August)

1) Your salary based on your seat, plus per diem.
2) Ground training is two weeks, flight training is 2 weeks to a couple months.
3) No, maybe SWA, they taken anyone.
4) Unknown, they are running the first upgrade class I've seen in 7 months. Of the FO's in it I know, they have all been here 1 1/2 years.
6) Everyone does it differently, but most people alternate legs.
