Was this written anywhere? Memo, email???

It was in an FOM revision. The hat is now only required when the blazer is required. But seriously, its just a hat. I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape about being required to wear it, or about others choosing not to.

Blazer? What Blazer?

Is a Blazer a new term for starting a E120 APU with a half dead battery?

And PCL, the AirTran FO's have been letting us down. A noticeable absence of spiky hair lately. In fact, since the Freedom and SkyWest pilots are fewer in number the Spiky Haired, IPOD, Backpack sightings have been greatly reduced around the ATL. They are becoming endangered feces, I mean species.

That is funny!!

When I see people without hats, they look like half a$$ed retards. I guess you all think you look hip and cool but you actually look rediculously sloppy and immature. You remind me of a kid who is worried about wearing the wrong thing to school. "I don't want to wear it, they'll think I'm a geek!" Haha! I do admit, you give me something to laugh at throughout the day. Here's to you, "Mr. I don't wear a hat because I'm too cool for school guy!"

You know what's even worse than the "Should I wear my hat" debate?

Required to hold your external checklist in your hand while doing the walk-around. It's so retarded even my company couldn't come up with it; the genius idea came from the feds. I shrank that d@mn thing to 1/16 and laminated it and keep it in my wallet - just in case.

That's a GREAT idea! Stopping by Kinkos on my way to FSI today.

When I see people wearing their hats, they look like half a$$ed tools. I guess you all think it's still 1940 and you need the attention from the flying public. "Look Timmie, there goes an airline pilot. You can tell he's a pilot by the hat he's wearing."

You remind me of those nerds at school who wore the pocket protectors and the knee high socks. You know what? I am way too cool for that stupid hat.
