Don Norton a.k.a #1 1947-2007 R.I.P.
Quinn Sipe a.k.a. Harley 1969-2004? R.I.P.
Hey Alf. Did Harley work at Netjets?
Hey Alf. Did Harley work at Netjets?
yes he did....I believe he was on an overnight somewhere and died in his sleep at the hotel.
I am in the process of setting up a CCAIR Alumni site, and yes, We will never forget #1 or Harley.I flew with both! Harley was a total trip, did an excellent Butthead impersonation.
I'll never forget the time I was Deadheading to AGS and had to sit in the Jumpseat of the Dash. #1 was giving IOE to some idiot. He was overtemping one of the engines, and #1's subtle hints were amusing, first he's pretending he was sweating and put his hands by the overtemping gauge. Then when the IOE student didn't get the message, #1 took his checklist and was fanning the gauge with it. When the IOE student asked why he was doing that, #1 said trying to cool it down.
The funeral was today.
