C'mon, now. History is littered, and unfortunately the GROUND is littered with the remains of two and three-person cockpits where some, most, or all involved made mistakes. Some of those mistakes were very big, indeed. Goofing on an intersection takeoff is both lame and tame in comparison to what's happened over the years. Just think of the Tenerife crash... Air Florida in DC... AA at LGA... Or just read the list of names in the beginning of Mr. Gann's "Fate is the Hunter."
I dare say all of those crews were more experienced than any Mesa crew, or any regional/national crew for that matter. By singling out a minor boo-boo of a Mesa crew (which I am not entirely convinced ever happened, based upon your obvious bias against them), insinuating that only a Mesa crew would do it, you are engaging in is nothing more than name-calling.
