Is there anyone out there knowing where a pilot could get some ATR sim time?

Try Flight Safety at the Wilmington Delaware (New Castle County) Airport ILG. The last time I was there, they had an ATR 42/72 sim that was used extensively.

It hasn't been in Wilmington for a couple of years. Try HOU or ATL Flightsafety.

I think the FS atr sim at hou has been moved to dfw.

I have used ATR sims at FSI, HOU, ATL, DFW. Those are the only ones I know of. Some in France I'm sure. May be a bit beyond your budget.
