was talking to a buddy on the ATR...he said there were only 40 captains for Aug. and there were 39 lines...uh oh. I just checked on flica...the Aug assignments show 44 capts. Still not enough.

Gonna be a lot of JRM1s and cxled trips

ASA in the A T L

Guess I should've put that in the thread name...oh well. There's only us and Eagle flying people around in them anyway...in the US.

Next month there are only 2 F/Os on reserve. I guess the lesson for crew planning is when you let 7% of your f/os go to the 700 you might want to have to replacements ready. Thats the way I would have done it, but I'm just a dumb pilot.

I was surprised when I was released to the RJ. At the time, we were well staffed on the ATR. They painted themselves into a corner.

It'll affect RJ crews too...cause they're gonna have to replace some of the ATR trips with them.

From the looks of it they are short Everywhere. I was told that as many as 15-20 F/os have left salt lake to skywest and other airlines.

Real nice. Glad to see that once again, there is no accountability in the GO. Sorry for you ATRah guys.

I'm sure Lyin' LaPuke will find a way blame crews and mechanics for the pilot shortage in his weekly address next week.

Typical ASA crew planning with no oversight by Mis-Management. ASA will win the race to the bottom with management leading the way.

No reserves this month. Way to go planning. WTF is management doing about this? Uh, NOTHING. The only solution they can come up with is Pilot Pay Cuts. MORONS.

We have four or five F/O reserves in SLC for next month. One of those has already quit, and I think one or two line holders are leaving as well. SLC sure is going out with a bang.
