Anyone go through Atp's 2 day course lately??? I was thinking about going to Phoenix and getting mine. I am currently flying 121 and its been a while since Ive flown GA. Just wondering if someone can tell me what to expect.

Skychicken,

I am looking to do mine as well. My concern is the programs around here do it in two days give you about 5 hrs in the plane and send you for the ride. ATP only does the 4 day program by me (KARR) and they give you 10 hrs which I think would be a big help for myself. Of course it's more expesive, but if it helps ensure a first time pass, I'm cool with it. I'm looking to do it here soon if the weather clears up and I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Have you called some of the sim training centers that teach the CRJ or whatever plane you're flying now, see if they'll sell you 2 hours in the sim with an examiner for the ride.
