I only knew of 1 in the 4.5 yrs I was there...and she graduated a long time ago. There was that hot girl that was there Spring of 98, but I found out she was only visiting her brother.

Uh, last time I was in Daytona there was a beach about 2 or 3 miles East of the airport (hint, a few women hang out there).

Good grief, they sell maps at the gas station !!!!!

Shouldn't this be in the Training section or something?

24 percent of Daytona is below the poverty line. The beach is scary.

But yet so much fun!!!!!!

go to the ocean deck, same homeless drug addict that has been dancing to the same sh!tty reggae band for 10 years, last time i was there i hooked him up with a four horsemen.

The Beach Is Scary ???????????????

Scared of the beach?

That explains a lot. Yeah I guess a few more attractive women on campus would be less scary.

Maybe right next to the computer would be even better.

The girls we do have on campus are scary...but overall they arent as scary as the beach due to being way outnumbered.

How in the world does Daytona's airport have the capacity to handle yet another flight school?

They'll just make us hold at the intersections longer, spending 3 dollars a minute while the prop is spinning.

The beach is scary there. It's kind of like the holy land of white trash. The better beach is New Symrna south of there. Every time I've been to Daytona beach you get the feeling that every kid who ever ran away from home in the midwest came to Daytona beach. They still haven't cleaned up from the hurricane three years ago.

Daytona is the opposite of all other airports for ATC handling or prioritizing of airplanes. If you go to a large hub airline airport, the little cessnas are banished to waiting in the backround til someone gets a chance to try to work them in or out. It's the opposite at Daytona. The controllers know who the bread and butter(and traffic count) are. I've sat there burning JetA for long periods of time while an endless string of riddlers come down the pipe of the ILS at 70kts. of groundspeed. They definitely get the priority handling there.

I'm just curious what qualifies this ExpressJet F/O to give a presentation on Airline Hiring Trends. Kit Darby's younger brother, maybe???
