I tried to locate the exact memo or bulletin but haven't found it yet.

But 135 (air taxi) guys are finally approved to ride jumpseat on Atlas.

You need to submit a request at this url:
http://www.atlasair.com/travel/confirm.asp?type=1

Personal advice: have a back up plan and leave yourself lots of time. When flights are late they can be 24 hours (or more) late.

Good luck.

But wait. There's more.

I found the bulletin.

I should've mentioned, for the purposes of jumpseating, OAL (other air line) pilots are divided in two groups: CASS member and non-CASS but employed by an FAR 119 carrier.

If you're CASS approved, use the link above no later than 3 hours before departure, preferably more than 24 hours. Obviously CASS is only approved for domestic flights.

If your're a non-CASS pilot *or* an FAA licensed Dispatcher you must submit the request at least 24 hours in advance.

I'm a little vague on the passport requirement for non-CASS travel when it's either domestic or international.

I'd recommend carrying as many documents as possible to prove your identity.

All requests will receive confirmation of Flight # and Tail # via return email.

Emergency requests are taken at 914-701-8047.

I'll have to print that out. It's been ten years since I was last in Dhaka--time to go back!

Much appreciated my man...

Dan

Dan, I'm worried about you

What business does a fine young man, such as yourself, have in Dhaka?

Maybe you own a sweatshop?

What are you up to these days? PM me if you like.
Ciao.

Careful

Flattery will get you everywhere.

Relax

It doesn't mean anything.

It's just a funny thing to say. A play on words. Irony.

Ok maybe it's not so funny.

I told you to never use my real name!!!
