Does anyone have any general insight to there dx operation? There based in a suburb of White Plains, NY and appear to use Navtech. And yes they are primarly a freight hauler. Thanks for any replies.

Atlas is a competitor of my company, but we both run in the same circles.
Pay is OK for a supp. carrier, lots of expansion coming (they are buying a bunch of 767-300's). The flying is very unique. You will be dispatching to places where the closest alternate is well over 500 miles away. They also have the LCF's now. That is a whole 'nother ball of wax.

Every Atlas dispatcher/supervisor that I have personally dealt with have been great. They know their stuff.

Good luck!

Atlas is not a Supp carrier, they operate under 121 flag. Dispatch office is about 4 miles from KHPN in Purchase NY, in the Morgan Stanley building. Have not used Nav-Tech in over 2 years now use FWZ. Have 3 PAX 747 and just starting to do some MIL pax flying. Pretty much go grab a map of the world that pretty much covers were they fly. They have current contracts with QFA / UAE but do tons of ACMI flying as well. It's a good gig 2-4 years there you should be able to work at any airline, not putting down any other airline but there is a old saying why is Atlas going there? answer- BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE WILL and it shows in the dispatch department they know their stuff.......

Work is a 5-3 / 5-2. 8hr shifts 6a-2p / 2p-10p / 10-6a are the shifts
Pay???? are in neg as of this date so that will change

The Teamsters ....... over 2 years its the first contract sounds like they are getting close to an TA by years end.....

Curious about the pay considering the location. Is it much of a livable wage?

How is the fwz flight planning working out? I have heard of some problems at United, but that could be of their own making.
