If DAL sells Compass and Mesaba they're looking at an instant cash infusion of $500 million plus. I'm hearing DAL is in the market for new airframes. $500+ mil will help alot towards financing those airframes.

If Skywest Inc. were to aquire Compass and merge them with ASA it wouldn't be pretty. Expect date of hire integration with the pilot groups and nothing less. That would put every Compass captain back as first officer.

They would operate them seperately. That's how they did it with us.

Crazy amount of opentime on the FO side of the 200, however less red arrow days. Wonder if that is part of the "lowering threshold" and "turning off red arrows" that JP was talking about. They're still there, you just can't see 'em!

They did it with us that way because we are union and Skywest is not. Compass is ALPA and it would only make sense to combine the lists. I could see a fence put up for a while but after that, look out!
