I have 5 legs tomorrow and they have all been cancelled. Sched told me to call them in the morning when I get up. I refuse to come in a sit during the footprint. I will give them a 2 hour call out.

I don't know about you guys but I really wanna be there to see how ops work...or don't work tomorrow!

I hope things have changed. The weekend we closed DFW I watched them (in ATL) waste upwards of 2000 gal. of type I to deice a CR2 in active freezing rain before they figured out it wouldn't work. One of the funniest hours I ever spent at ASA.

Snow Day!!!!!!

My trip go axed!!!

Wooooo Hooooo!!!

Great. More activity on F.I. since no one is working. I am in the crew lounge, and about 3 others are posting now. Where's the pilot appreciation pizza from Johnny's?

DB's email mentioned that they would be bringing in "the best crews." Where is that list? Am I on it? I hope not, I like sitting home. I don't make "history."

Is scheduling calling you guys? I commute and when I woke up to shower my one round trip was cancelled. I self notified and don't plan to answer the phone for the duration of the day.

As of 1541z...
The "wintery mix" is about 25nm west of KATL with the snow about 10nm behind that. KBHM dipped down to less than 600 RVR at one point associated with the snowfall.

Looking at a PIREP right now for a CRJ2 over RMBLN for MOD-SVR TB and MOD RIME at FL190.

Looks like SKW took the whacking stick to about 50% of the ATL schedule...about 30 flights total.

Woohoo thundersnow in CSG :)

Of course neither of my flights were part of the 50% Looking at the flight info monitors it looked like 80-90% were canceled. The terminals were dead.

Just have to break into the "Emergency Supply".

Yes, i'm so bored that I've actually resorted to Flightinfo for amusement...

I know. I'm seriously considering asking the Mods to permanently ban my screen name so I can do more productive things with my time.
