Tell me the year you started at your current airline, and I'll guarantee that a SWA pilot who started the same year has made much more than you have. It's ironic that so many "Legacy" pilots mention how those SWA guys never made real money, but you would be surprised at the amount of money these guys have as a net worth. A lot of Millionaires walking around the Concourse, looking for a free USAToday of course.

I find it ironic that you small peckered guys talk about pay. Let me fill you in on something, it ain't all about pay dude! QOL. Days off. And if I gotta be away from the fam, I want to have a choice of where I'm flying to.
That, along with benefits, retirement, fun and choice of equipment.
SO you guys are the highest paid. BFD! How long do you think that will last? Your arrogance is only preceeded by your managements good business decisions, which are only as good as the current economic cycle.
Good luck to us all. We'll need it. Especially, considering airlines like Emirates and many other foreign airlines receive tax breaks, and subsidies from their government(s).
You're only as good as the next cheapest competition.

That's not always the case. Some of us like the choice.
I want to choose where I want to go. IF I gotta be away from my family, at least let me go where I want to go. I realize it's a job, so having control over it makes it a lot more fun. Its just one guys opinion.
I am really happy you guys have great pay. It helps in the fight to get better pay for the industry. That being said, you're still only as good or as bad as the next down cycle, as all of us are.
