Did I hear it correctly on the MEC line? Upper management is working on pay-cuts for themselves? If that is correct, I'm impressed.

Nice.

WOW!! Is ATA hurting that bad?
Hurting? Yes. How bad? In my opinion, we're not sinking, just diverting around a storm. I think most of us here think this place could be very successful if managed well and with a little luck. Lots of potential, just having a hard time tapping it. The 100 seat jet is a good thing, should provide jobs but at low pay for a few years. Our leader is not your average bear. That is good for us at this time.

Expect to see ATA MEC Chairman to work closely with George Mickelson. Expect to see other Vice Presidents getting the axe, pay cuts were the first shot across the bow. I expect the MEC will be working closely with senior management to create a much more efficient, hopefully more profitable, ATA.

Good news to come! I hope.....

Will the MEC be working with George's dentist & the other "cutting edge" managers? ATA is by Hoosiers, for Hoosiers, & known only to Hoosiers. So much potential, so little to show for it. Sad.
