I see that they hired an L-1011 fo. Does L-1011 time help at all? I was also wondering about the "under active consideration" card, does everyone who sent in an app get one, or did your app make the next pile that gets a closer look? Thanks...

I don't know if L10 time helps or not, but I would think that it does.

As for the reply card, I think they are it or miss. I did not get one when I sent in my app. Some of the people in my ATA newhire class got them, and some did not. Sorry, that's all I know.

I was one of three new hires put into the Tristar in august. None of us had previous L-10 time. Two of us were military, though, and the third was an international cargo pilot. I really doubt they're looking specifically to hire into the L-10 nowadays, though, since there's so few and soon to be less. I really do wish you the best of luck though. It's a great place to work.
