Usually they stick the guys that can't fly on the a/c rec team. That way they feel like they are a part of something. Plus you can tell your friends "that is not a 400 that is a 400ASJFBVHVHFBDNB11234 alpha model". Tool.

LMAO!!!!

That is NOT a 400LS, it's a Cheyenne III. I know this by being on the aircraft recognition team at Riddle.

Gosh...I hate it how all the tards from Daytona Beach give the university a really horrible reputation.....

remember, there are two main campuses, and the one west of the mississippi is the best! (Mostly because the lower amount of toolboxes like this guy)

So which major is hiring aircraft recognizers? I heard Southwest may be looking for a class, but they dont hire many as they only have one aircraft type to recognize. I know many aircraft recognizers are furloughed. One guy I knew got on at Delta, his dream job, now he recognizes lumber at Home Depot. Another guy I knew got fed up recognizing RJs for peanuts and is now recognizing trucks. He swears he has had it with the industry and claims he will never recognize an airplane again!

Just make sure you know what you are getting into. Recognizing airplanes is a brutal business...just brutal.

If Rhoid actually went to and graduated from ERAU, it gives creditability to my college degree had nothing to do with flying an airplane position.

Recognition at SWA appears easier, but we have an equally difficult time. The real challenge is recognizing wild turkey from all the others. Some can't hang and go to beer recognition....its tough.

I bet he tried out for the Flag corp in High school too.

Medeco

If that guy is for real or not, I don't care. That post made me laugh.

I don't think Rhoid was serious fell'ers. If he was serious he has mental problems.

BTW, I thought ATA was American Airlines version of Deltas SONG? They are a new airline, right?
