Do any of you ATA guys know what's going on at MDW? Media announces that they are trying to sell to SWA, then ATA denies it. I didn't even know that ATA was having any trouble. Just looking for some info.

Business as usual at Midway the whole last two weeks with ATA.

I figure they were just seeing what they could do, nothing wrong with that.

You really think those banks are going to ground almost 50 airplanes, they would lose even more money.

I don't think they will ground them...just find someone else besides ATA to fly them. Someone who has more cash on hand to pay for them. The 737's are especially vulnerable to this fate.

times are tough everywhere!

Unfortunately you're right! This is bad news when a "low cost carrier" is having trouble! They have a fine group of folks working there, and I wish them nothing but the best!
