Pogue, put down the Guiness my friend and pick up some bourbon mixed with tabasco sauce as that is the way we do it here in the south! Don't you have some snowboarding to do? you inner mountain west tree hunging hypie!

On a serious note with regards to hiring, I spoke with pilot recruiting yesterday as I had nothing better to do but to hang out at the GO. The word from her was that there are the 3 classes for attrition and that those classes were going to be small, possibly a 4th in May. They wouldn't even drain the pool. That is all she knew as of yesterday morning. But, for those familiar with the land formerly known as "Candler Land" the right hand doesn't always talk to the left.

I wonder how many missed or incorrect calls have happened today?

"Go ahead"

A new hobby, perhaps?

Plug,

I've just got to know, why, in the name of all that is holy, would you want to just hang out at the GO? To me that seems a bit like just hanging out in the smoking lounge, but rather than your lungs, it's your soul that turns black! Unless you're doing scientific research with appropriate safety measures in place, I'd stay clear of that moral black hole if I were you.

My new hobby is to have a Willy's burrito with pinto beans and ride the GO elevators. ;-)

I'm with you on the Willy's burrito, although I'm more of a black bean guy myself. As for riding the elevator all day....whatever floats your boat. Just remember, you can't log PIC/IMC unless you're the sole manipulator of the controls.

Plug, now that was funny!

What happened to Bart?

701EV

Blucher, I am the only one who presses the buttons. Does that count?

Stifler's Mom, I once got an FO to don his mask, yeah baby!!!!!

701EV, needed a change and 'tis the season for 3400 lbs. american made machines to go fast and turn left with a couple of right turns throughout the season. God I love mullets!

Speaking of mullets, I think one of the company's attornys is growing one. Yup, McClintock is all business in the front but has a growing party in the back!

Plug,
As long as you are the one who actually signs for the elevator. If not, some other operators won't accept your time, even if you are typed in that elevator and "acting as button pusher."

-Blucher;)

...but aren't we giving out SIC ratings for the elevators now?
An elevator SIC type might be more useful than an airplane SIC type! At least I should be able to get an elevator operator job in NYC with it.

Jimmie Johnson is too California for racing. Real drivers are from the midwest, and born there, not like Jeff Gordon!

Now in regards to McClintock, he needs a severe beating and then some!

all i can say is call call call. I would suggest calling even if you ANTICIPATE having the time in the next couple of months.

So why would they not even drain the pool and yet continue to interview?
I don't get that....

You are talking about ASA, there is nothing that this company does that is understandable.
