SH e-mail speculates 30 crews displaced to IAD effective Jan 31; position notice due out in a couple weeks. Additional 25-30 crews to IAD, ORD, or some other mixed Delta/United base around May.

Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't there be a bid out first for pilots that might want to go before they are actually displaced?
 
Will these bids be transparent to give everybody an idea of what the other fella is doing? Sure would be nice to have an idea whether or not you'd be on reserve or a line holder in ATL vs IAD.

I can't wait for the future FI thread that addresses how people are going to get screwed by this new flying. ;)
