This was posted on Skyjobs.net.....

I guess we are getting EMB's back because they are hiring people who can be Capt's within a year....This is no joke....It was cut and pasted from www.skyjobs.net.

Expanding regional?????? LOL maybe there is something we don't know....

Loosing Sims, instructors, 13 70's and 12 ATR's....Hmm somethings gotta give!

Somebody just changed the date. It should read:

Yeah, when ASA hired me back in 2001 they told me I would be an E-120 Captain in 30 days. Here is my big chance again.

Nuts.................

Notice the contact also says "Loretta Boyd." As far as I know she hasn't been involved with pilot hiring in quite some time...

Hi folks,
Just wanted to get an idea fron you ASA crews what the pay rates are. I am from the UK so I am not too familiar with monthly guarantees, per diems etc (its a little different here). What would a year 1 or 2 first officer take home net each month approximately? Also (sorry to be demanding!) would someone with 2500 tt, 1100 multi (inc 750 dash8) be suitable for ASA in either the atr or crj role in Atlanta?
Any clues to anything about working there are gratefully received as family may require me to relocate. Thanks again.

If you really want to know. go and see how many first officers are living in the back of their cars at either your local wal-mart, or local bar

Our first year pay rate is $19.02 an hour which most people equate to $19,000 the first year. I can tell you this is NOT the case. I've been on line since January and July is the first month I've flown over gaurantee (which is 75 hours). I net closer to $1,100 a month after taxes and deductions. That being said, this month I have over 100 hours credit and will make much more. It all depends on when you get hired and the amount of flying you do.
