Ok some guy in the crew room yesterday said SKYW was hiring ASA FO's at second year pay. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

i heard the only advantage they get is they get put at the top of their class senority no matter what their ss # is.

No Sim, top of the class list in asa seniority (behind current SkyWest employees), payed jepps, uniform,... First year pay.

PS everyone gets the payed jepps and uniform now!!

That rumor was started here. There is a thread where SkyWest pilots were talking about Management talking..... You can do a search and probably find the thread.

They are definitely hiring ASA FO's. It's mostly the SLC pilots that refuse to be relocated again.....that is until SKYW bases them in Denver or DC....lmao

I think I had mentioned the possibility of starting at second year pay in an earlier post. I had heard from someone in management that it was being considered but nothing more than that.
