Somebody has way too much time on their hands, or hand in this case.

Its actually the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life. It takes absolutely no attrition into account, so what good is it? It assumes every pilot on the list will stay with the company until age 60, which is unlikely. So, why bother?

Then don't play. Just because someone post something for anyone to participate in, doesn't mean you are required to play along. It's like late night TV, offending content, turn the channel or just ignore. It's your own fault if you get sucked into it and you claim it's a waste of your time.

Aaah, Ok. I wont play. But, what good is the thing? There is zero accurracy to it. This would be my seniority number here if not one pilot ever leaves and we all stay here until age 60. What good is that? It just seems so futile and useless.

Uh, did you read the thread? Apparantly there IS an attrition formula if you want to use it, or you can take into account how many slots you have moved up in the last few years and deduct it from your answer. It made me realize I need to get out of here much sooner than later.
