A recent class sat thru Scott's BS and offered no input. At the conclusion, SH asked if anyone had any questions/comments. No one spoke, complete silence. Ought to be this way every time he's in there!

Outside, SH asked BD, who was in there, what was up with the silent treatment. BD says, "they've heard it all before"! Brillant!

ASA Pilots
We Don't Fall for Company BS!

Yea, he11, all of us have been through about 4 recurrent grounds since this all started! Their rhetoric hasn't changed in that time. What else is there to say? We get it!

:angryfireWell why did'nt you put that JackAss on the spot? I love to hear them confuse themselves with all of their BS and Lies. They are nothing but lying sacks of SH!T!! They better get things going in the right direction before this place EXPLODES!!!!!!!!! Morale is the lowest I have ever seen it around here before!

I wish that were the case! However, the numbers prove otherwise! Completion and on-time performance are still at normal levels!

The unfortunate truth here is that, yes, we have all seen SH, BL, and CT's bullsh_t a number of times in RGT, but what you forget is that they've heard all this p_ssing and moaning from us as well!

Action speaks MUCH louder than words in this case! All I've seen out of this pilot group in the last 4+ years is a bunch of hot air!!!

BURN IT DOWN!!!!!!!!!

I think the silence was more effective than any questions would have been. Scott has heard all those questions before and has programmed answers for them. He was proly pissed he didn't get to use any of them.

Too bad the pilot group here just doesn't get it! They don't have the balls to do what needs to be done, your right.....just a bunch of hot air.

Get the fire started.. There won't be a pilot out there that would piss on it to put it out.

Can't wait until ScottHall comes on here to give us his input.

Please explain! Are you saying that the ASA pilot group hates ASA enough to not help out if things are going down hill?
I will assume I am miss understanding your comment since:
ASA pilots were picking up open time for time and half
ASA pilots recommended to SH to chop up the trips so they could help pick them up
ASA pilots are still calling for services/boarding
ASA pilots are still using their cell phones in the cockpit to call dispatch/scheduling
ASA pilots aren't putting any pressure on the company to get them motivated enough to negotiate
I could go on and on, but like I said I am sure I miss understood your post

I don't have any heartburn with people using their cell phones to call scheduling/dispatch, but the rest of your post is dead on. I'm not so sure pilots recommended busting up the trips to SH, though. I think he most likely wrote that memo to the pilot group to attempt to undermine those of us who are trying not to help this company out of its dysfunction.

Unfortunately, there are too many pilots at ASA who are "fixers". The "fixers" who want to make up for all of this company's shortcomings /inefficiencies /idiocies are pretty much screwing the rest of us.

I actually saw a Captain trying to fill out a form to get reimbursed for the use of his personal cell phone from an international call. Good luck with that pal. Next time walk in side.

They probably would throw the cases of water on it instead. Or I guess I would piss on those that were trying to put it out.

I agree with your post. I am not one of those ASA pilots you mentioned though.

Got any suggestions on how to beat it out of them?

1. ASA pilots want to comply and remain anonymous for fear of anything negative going on their company record. It has happened for the dumbest of things under former and current management.

2. ASA pilots want to get to their overnight or home to rest. How can you argue that with 14 hour duty days and six legs.

3. The strike vote was weak.

4. Blame some senior Captains who have everything to lose, and the junior FO's for being naive and totally willing management slaves.

I don't volunteer any information. Scheduling changed my trip to a very early duty in, and I knew it was less than 9 hours, but didn't say a word while the scheduler didn't notice it. When came time for my last roundtrip, I gave scheduling a call and said guess what, I'm on reduced rest. They were soooooo pi$$ed. Pulled the tapes and everything to find I was totally in the right. Needless to say, it was cancelled. NOT MY PROBLEM.

Waited 52 minutes the other night to be parked. 6 50 seaters in parking spots that were spares. Hmmm what a joke.

This whole thread is a lie. Pilots love me and ASA. It is the union that is keeping the pilots from seeing a bonus and generous raise. Every recurrent class commends me on the fine job I am doing.

Check my signature...All around nice guy

Why anyone would call scheduling on their cell phone just completely boggles my mind. Even if you've got unlimited minutes it's just the wrong thing to do. Don't want to leave the cockpit? Use 131.15 in ATL or your Sure Mic anywhere else.

As long as you are 5'2" or less and 120 lbs or less, never been an ultimate fighter champion, a martial artist black belt or not just a bad a$$..... then bring it on. If you are any of the preceding, yeah, beat it out of them!

The other day nearing our cruise altitude coming from XYZ back to ATL we got a call from Flight Control saying the whole crew needed to call scheduling (two hours away from ATL). They must have been desperate. Extended all of us. Screwed up my commute home. I was very happy. I sent them flowers.

What is funny is that no one over that the four sided squirrel cage cares. Delta hates the number that we have. I think that one guy mentioned waiting to park a few nights ago coming in from YYZ. Well guess what, you were carrying a Delta exec who was totally honked off. I know, I was on the phone with him. They know that this place sucks. They are just trying to figure out a way to "fix" it. They guys told me that he loves to deal with SKW and their management, but ASA, just drives then up the wall. Will it change, who knows but the correct people are finding out for themselves. In his words this place is going to get Thumped. I cannot wait to see what happens.

Hey, This is the only place that I can think of that deifies all business principles and still stays in business.

SH is a piece of crap scab who fondles young boys. He deserves nothing short of an ass whippin.
