All pilots recalled as of 11 am this morning. Congrats, all!
 
Congrats to all. Long time coming.

Is it too early to speculate on what this means for the future?

Calling the furloughs back is a good start. Next, clean house in scheduling and crew planning.

First round it was 16, not sure about the second round. This (third) round may convince some people to come back who were worried about QOL. FWIW there are 11 on the list on ourasa.com who are still showing bypass.

Hahaha You sound like you are shocked. They will be Captains by the time your coming out of reserve in ATL. At least you"re CRJ-700s will have first class now. hahahaha seriusly though good news there is movement out there.
 
I believe 89 with class dates and 25 on bypass. That leaves around 22 left to call up plus asking the bypass to come back one final time. I think Atlantic Southeast is going to start hiring. Just a hunch though.
 
Talked to that company and since I hadn't started training yet they were ok with it. All my concern was if I got recalled after I finished flight training but since it happened before I received my training and was qualified it made a completely different situation. I don't think I could ever explain getting trained knowing I would leave right away. I offered to repay for the hotel and drug test and give back my first week of pay (for ground school) but they said don't worry about it and told me to feel free to reapply in the future if I ever found myself needing a job again. Great group of guys at that place.

But, lets not get distracted. Every one is recalled now and I know a few more people down the list that I am really happy for! Lets hope there is future hiring and growth!
 
Good news is we don't have to watch any of you run around naked ;-) That sealed the deal... I couldn't do that to everyone.
 
Great news. Glad to see even more great news coming to Atlantic Southeast. BH is truly a remarkable leader. He is taking this airline beyond what most people ever could have imagined and is still not finished. BH and the folks at SKW Inc are doing a fantastic job. About every 2 weeks the company has made a very positive announcement. At this rate of positive news even the militant anti-company FI'ers will run out of things to complain about.
