Just wondering who is in charge of hiring at ASA. I know it used to be Julie Ellis, but was reading some threads saying it was Dan Robertson. Also what is the status of hiring currently at ASA.

Julie went out on leave to have a baby. Rumor is that she will be going back to the line when she returns.

Dan Robertson is now in charge of hiring. I have only talked with him a few times but he appears to be a nice guy. Also, Loretta Boyd is back. She is really really nice.

Hiring: Been hearing rumors of a class sometime in April.

I got this number from Texx yesterday. Give it a go:

"If you have a question, please feel free to call "Danny, I Can't Fly, Robertson" at 404-766-1400."

When they were doing my background check , I was in contact with Tamiko Adams at the hiring Dept. I don't think that she's in charge doh.

You must call Danny only at 404-766-1400 ext 2396! He'll be glad you called!

Dan Robertson is definently in charge of pilot hiring, and in my opinion, one of the nicest guys you will find, especially at ASA...

If you ever had to work for him you would have a different view. Ask the upper 1/3 of the current list about it because the lower didn't have to work for him.

Yeah, Loretta Boyd is defiantely the way to go. One of the nicest people I've dealt with in the airlines.

Wasn't his BAE 146 type a xmas gift with the understanding that would never fly the line with it?

Nah, I don't think he ever checked out in the 146. He was CP during that time I believe. I may be wrong though.

He was sent back to the line. "Given" the type with the understanding that he would never fly the 146 at ASA.

I didn't know that Loretta was back. As stated above she is the nicest person you will meet at ASA, glad to have her back!

Ahh...I stand corrected then. But, I reserve the right to change my mind after Joe Merchant checks in with his verision of how it went down!

And, yes, Loretta is a very nice person. Great to fly with. Just feel for her having to work alongside Dapper Danny!

I have no idea why you guys like Loretta. I've dealt with her many times and I find her to be an old bitter lady who's got a chip on her shoulder. She hides that, but if you TRULY know her, you can see right through it. I personally can't stand her.
