Yeah, it's screwy. It shows a person senior to me got the FO bid, and two people junior to me got the Capt. I put it for DTW CR7 Capt and didn't get the award.

No kidding. She screwed up the first one, did a much better job with the second one. From what I saw, the mistakes with that one were due to Charlie's instructions to her on how to do it.

She strikes me as one of the smarter, more competent people over there...

The second one went against what is in the contract as far as voluntary displacements, the first and third at least reflected previous reductions.

Final is out. More than 30 upgrades, junior CA 11/2005 in DTW.

They ended up sending 63 total capt's to DTW, 7 more than projected. Hope the pairings don't suck.....

Those are the only people that bid, I guess the rest of the 11ish spots will be filled by future new-hires.

30+ upgrades is a good start. Now if we can get back to the 30+ upgrades a month that was going on in 2007 things would be nice

The three new-hires that got awarded DTW will be and the next class (3/7) should be fairly close.

There are 6 guys on various leaves (Mil, Medical, etc.)

But most of the guys on leave (aside from the ALPA one) are due to come back before June 1st. Check the assignments and you can see when thier projected LOA's are supposed to end. I think there will be 58-60 guys bidding per month up there. Anyone know if they intend to hire a CP for DTW? Obviously FM bid to DTW and RP bid to IAD. I assumed they were just going to be the CP's there but I heard FM is sick of being a CP and want's to head back to the line. I haven't heard anything about a DTW CP.

I would be perfectly fine with FM being CP in DTW.

The CP gig is a 3yr commitment, and doesnt come close to paying for the major headhache.
