I dont frequent this board much anymore because there really is no discussion worth participating in. They got ours, so lets beat their head in. Great argument.

As far as picketing the skywst thing, fins I agree that it sucks, but we KNEW those airplanes were NEVER going to come to us. If they want them, fine by me....50 seat pay all around! We know what happens with the "promised aircraft dealio".....right comair guys!!:laugh: Sorry, that was LOW! Just remember fins, CARMA can be a BIZACH and it is coming for the "west" crews!!

A SLC pilot told me that SW doesn't even have enough pilots to fly their own airplanes. They are trying to get people to volunteer for reserve on their days off (with financial incentives to do so).

This is correct. Unfortunately, we stopped hiring when Delta declared bankrupcy. We ran overstocked for the better half of a year, and now with UAL recalls and F9, SWA, FedEX and others hiring many of our pilots, we are too lean. I've heard that an enormous number of interviewees are coming unprepared or are plain unhireable.

When ASA was hiring they dropped the mins to 600/100 as in 'we'll take 'em" and half the classes no-showed the first day.
