I know we've all seen CT and SH talking to the pilots about our current contract negotiations. Where the h#ll is LaBreque in all of this. He needs to stop sending out his troops and come talk to the pilot group himself.

Why? Why would you want him to speak to the pilots? You should know where he stands, stands to gain more like it! He has an open door policy, go to the G/O and visit with him. Just watch out for the sunshine he'll blow up your arse though!

I'm pretty sure I saw him struggling to carry that huge bonus of his down the street all the way to the bank the other day. Poor guy, it must be tough! Only this airline could give an $800,000 performance bonus to a manager who's company finishes last place in just about every performance/satisfaction survey.

My thoughts exactly. What on earth has this guy done, remotely good!! NOTHING, is what! Lets see, last in on time, last in lost bags, last in customer complaints; a ramp thats an utter mess bordering on a disgrace, disgruntled and disloyal employees everywhere!!! AND HE GETS A BONUS FOR THIS????? ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME! This guy should be ashamed of himself. He may be the worst airline leader in the industry. Name one good thing that he's done? When is he out on the front line observing the operation, listening to suggestions from front line employees or talking and listening to customers? I'll tell you.......NEVER! What a joke.

Fellow ASA Pilots,

I have a solution. In order to get Mr. B's and Mr. T's attention, I suggest we show them just how messed up this Atlanta operation can be. The sweet thing about this deal is we don't have to lift a finger. No picketing, no handing out flyers, no buying billboards, no nothing.

That's the point. If we stop using our cellphones, make one call-that's all, and stop doing everyone else's jobs, this place will come to a screeching hault. Maybe it will get their attention and get the talks going again.

In my playbook, this is the only way to avoid a strike. As is, a YES strike vote is a slamdunk, with mine being the first in the box.

We are first at being last.

;)You are RIGHT Buscap! The ramp would come to a screeching hault, but BL would not hear or see it, due to the fact that he is probably sitting in his nice new house right next to SKIPPY in the Caribean! My vote will be in there right along with the other 1800+ pilots!! STRIKE IT!!

LaB's Swan Song

The $800,000 in stock is probably a retention bonus for LaBreque. In that case, look for his resignation letter within 3 - 6 months. I've come to believe that retention bonuses are just resignation payouts by another name.

Why is everyone trying to get paid to improve the operation? I'm sorry, but this place is an operational dog. It stinks whether you put effort in or not. In fact, the more you try, the worse it gets. So everyone try real hard, and maybe that'll help with our plight.
