Looks like all Lot 2 and 700 Lot 3 employees are going to be moved to Camp Creek by August 15th.

Due to capacity and projected ASA growth.

we should rename this forum ASA and other various regionals

We're just a lot more interesting than the other regionals.

Shall I call it flame? Oh wait, he must mean all the SLC guys coming back. Not actual growth.

Taken directly from the memo. " Due to increasing congestion and projected growth of both ASA and Air Tran".....

It's all those rampers that they are going to hire to go from 50% staffed to over 100% staffed. There's your growth.

But it's still the pilots fault for the low perf. numbers......

The way I read it, only Lot 2 employees have to move. Lot 3 employees have the option to move.

Initially thats what I thought as they were asking for lot 3 volunteers. But if you read it again it says additionally they will have to relocate 700 employees to the camp creek lot. I think lot 2 guys are moving first, then lot 3 volunteers, then they will start mandating lot 3 transfers. Just a guess.

When the SLC pilots come back to ATL will we able to "bump" people from Lot 3 based on senority? How is it done these days?

See that would just figure, I get nice and comfy in Clark Howell, and then you are gonna up and take that away from me!! Does anyone feel like an orphan?

Good, maybe now I can find a parking spot. Clark Howell is way to busy.

You're probably one of those guys that bitch3d about the parking and thought being vocal would help. How did it help? They run the bus thru the whole parking lot before coming over...good job!

If you can't find a parking spot it's cause you're too lazy, try looking 1 or 2 rows away from the bus stop...

Where is this memo everyone keeps referencing?

Flica...

I have a hunch there is some cost cutting involved in giving up the majority of spaces in Lot 3. Definitely going to blow adding an extra 20 minutes to both ends of a trip.

I didn't bitch to anybody. Why do you think they started that? There is no place to park at shift changes!!! And for your info chief I don't park next to the bus stops.

Have you ever got to the lot at 2 pm? You have to wait for a bus to come and then follow someone to a car and snag a spot that two other cars are waiting for aswell. Enjoy the other lot.

I get lot 2 is closing for ASA for AirTran, etc.... But, who is taking the 700 spots in lot 3 that we have to vacate? Somebody must be taking those.

I think eventually a new taxiway will be built there which will go around the west end of 27R so landing traffic on 27L can taxi to Lima without crossing 27R.

I like to thing of us as more ENTERTAINING thanks to our management practices. Never a dull moment on here or the OPS frequencies.

Thanks God for a great sense of humor, it's the only thing that gets me through ATL.
