Yeah didn't they frequently colaborate on ways to violate the contract, like the three naps in a row without days off or whatever it was.

They waste brain power at the GO to come up with garbage like that that saves them what- like a hundred bucks, and meanwhile planes aren't getting parked burning thousands and probably more.

Clowns.

An MEC member told me once that Randy Martin (aka Goat Boy), ASA "Contract Administrator" used to sit down with Nelson D, System Chief Pilot, Gary Gross, manager of "crew resources", Terry Hayes, manager of "Labor Relations", and Bill Hires, Attorney to brainstorm loopholes in the contract. This was the first two years of negotiations. Their intent was to steal sections of the contract, then make us buy them back with tighter language. That's a big part of why negotiations have taken so long... they wasted so much time like that, with the company stealing the contract, and the CNC defending it. We spent the first couple of years playing cat and mouse, while the company ignored us at the table.

Maybe if they spent half as much time and money supervising the ramp and taking care of the employees as they spend finding ways around our contract, this company wouldn't be in last place in every category... including employee morale. Angry employees make for angry customers. Why don't they understand that?

This paragraph fits ASA mgmnt to a T. If this is what Jerry and the SGU boys ask of them then they are doing a great job!!! In my opinion they are a bunch of over paid under worked finger pointing a$$holes.

Example: Trip A4123 on 27 Aug. is tentatively assigned to reserve pilot Chuck "Suck my butt" Viers...... The trip remains in open time for the 23 Aug. Open Time bid and Carl "Call me Nancy" Childree bids on it. If he is awarded the trip it is then removed from "fondle my butt" Viers schedule and placed on "tickle my nuts" Childree's schedule.

Now thats some funny sh_t!! I'm gonna have a real hard time not thinking of that and laughing my arse off next time I see him.

It's not that funny, maybe you didn't know that CV actually plays for the "other" team. He's actually pretty open about it.
