Got the Electronic Gate Request via ACARS per memo released today.

It just keeps getting better and better for us hasn't it?
Just need PDC clearances and we'll be set!

We should put a statue of Brad outside the A-Tech a la Rocky in Philly.:D

Long overdue! I've been using the gate deal for about a week and a half now. Works great!

Hey congrats Trojan. I do think USC is the best in the land, this year. Next year, BAMA! lol
Too bad USC & OK can't square off....

Just curious, does this feature of ACARS exist at your company? What other features does it offer related to dispatchers and pilots?

We've been doing PDC's for a while now...but the ACARS in-range stuff, as far as I know, is not at SKW yet.

Utah is the best team in the country. They beat Oregon State, TCU, BYU, Michigan, and Alabama. They lost ZERO games. How can you not call the only UNDEFEATED team in he country national champions? Anyone with common sense can see that Florida, USC, and Texas are tied for second behind Utah.

Uhhhh, no. They are not the best team in the country. They beat my Bama, fair enough. In a game with Florida, they would be merely a background for Florida's highlight reel.

Actually, this raises alot of questions! I was thoroughly impressed with the Utes last night. They jumped on one of the best defenses in the country early on. Although some adjustments were made after the first quarter, the Utah offense answered towards the end of the game when Bama started their run.

The Utah defense and all the sacks were awesome! I was an unobjective observer! It was one of the best games I have seen.

The Ole Miss/TexasTech game was also very entertaining! I got my money's worth after both of those games!

Unfortunately, under the present system, the best team will not necessarily be determined. At this point, it would probably be only fair to at least award a Co-title to Utah and the winner of the Oklahoma/Florida game!

To Utah's detriment, there is alot of bias given to SEC and Big Ten teams right out of the starting blocks. One thing for sure, we will never know which team was the best at the end of the season under the present system! No one can make that claim with certainty--even with a perfect season!

Fair enough, but neither would Florida or Oklahoma. Oregon State did beat USC though. Utah had to play Oregon State and did not lose. There is no champion in college football. There is only a paper champion. This year though it seems there is only one undefeated team. If I was the coach of Utah, I would proclaim my team champions.
 
Listening to those commentators last night was pathetic. They were all prepared for Alabama to beat Utah 300 to nothing, and when it didn't go their way the stumbled all over themselves. They had no Utah hightlights, and when they couldn't show their clips of John Parker Wilson, they had to ad lib, and it wasn't pretty.

Whenever Alabama had a good play they would praise the greatness of their players. Whenever Utah had a good play, and there were many, they toned it down and made some comment as to how an Alabama player allowed it to happen.

I agree. They like to think the non-BCS teams are inferior when it is not true. Utah went undefeated and had to beat some really good teams to do it. They beat Alabama worse than Florida. Isn't that why Oklahoma is in the national championship? Is it because they beat Texas Tech worse than Texas beat Oklahoma? The system is broken. There is no way to justify picking a national champion on stats alone. Strength of schedule is wrong too because it is based on rankings which are based on opinions.
 
If it were up to me, it would be Florida vs. USC in the NC. Not that Utah shouldn't be in there either. Utah looked dam good. 'SC always plays well in the Rose Bowl and has the experts second guessing. BCS sucks, bring a playoff, then we can see them all play each other and there would be no more excuses!

Aren't the Utah Seniors Urban Meyer's recruits? I am sure he is sitting back smiling about having some influence on this year's team..
 
Atually, you should have seen this place when Old School ASA ran the ramp. Not uncommon to wait for 45 minutes to get parked because nobody gave a crap on the ramp.
