My no-fly list is filled with flight attendants.

Oh OK, so it doesn't affect the aforementioned Captains award. That makes sense. They'll just go down 2/3rds of the FO list before pairing him up then.

As an FO, I thought I could fly with ANYONE. I was wrong. Only 1 person on my no fly list and it's NOT the white dragon. I bet 1/3 of the 200 FO's put him on their list.

It will be interesting to see how this affects his award!!

Unless your a senior FO that flys naps you probably will not fly with him. There are one or two others out there that even get on my nerves. It looks like with PBS we will not fly with the same person all month anymore; that is usually a good thing.

Me thinks yes and no. The F/A seem to close first. So, it would seem that their awarded pairings will be known. Therefore, it should allow the Pilots (both Captain and F/O) to select or avoid pairings that the Flight Attendants are assigned. That would be a hoot!

Me thinks the Captains's bids are run before the F.O.'s. That should allow the F.O.'s to select or avoid pairings that the Captains have been awarded.

IMHO, they should alternate the award timings each month, so the Captains can avoid some of the F.O.s

Award order : Capt, FO, FA.

CA = no (NO Fly/fly with) option
FO = CA No fly/fly with option
FA = CA & FO No fly/fly with option


CA does not need an avoid list, he's the CAPTAIN.

At XJT, we just trade away any pairing that has someone you dont want to fly with in the ILIW or the SLIW. Although, FOs and FAs do have a choice when they bid.
