Bottom 100 on the 200 Capt seat ATL

set my window at 85hrs

17 days off/ 8 days in a row/79hrs credit

I had ZERO pre assigned credit

That REALLY STINKS!!!!

It probably means that 89 was an unrealistic minimum value. If most of the high efficiency pairings go senior, I imagine it would be difficult to complete many of the junior pilots' schedules before exceeding minimum days off. The bottom of the credit window has been lowered during the bid runs more often than not. The company is trying to get by with too few pilots and it obviously isn't working out like they'd hoped.

Its also obvious, that they would not be doing this if there wasnt a good reason.

The questions is what is the reason?

I think it has less to do with how many pilots and more to do with inefficient utilization.

Major block hour decrease in the fall, don't want to be fat.

BINGO...it wouldn't be smart to add people with the cutbacks that are coming....You would have to furlough them soon after the finished training....
