Crew planning really learned a lesson form the closing of DFW. With four line holders resigning and only 6 reserves (on the f/o side) the completion factor is taking a beating.

SLC CA 13 pairings worth 115:25
SLC FO 42 pairings worth 281:10
total pairings 55 worth 396:35

Imagine what AUG and SEP are going to look like.

Considering your posts are about as useless as D'Angelho and SuperPooper's, I figure you can now join them.

ASA needs pilots. Only pilots that are not always bi*ching and whining like the current ones do. I think they would make good bums really. They know how to make pretty signs and try to gain everyones sympathy. Luckily it isn't working. People can see right through you and your fake "plight". The truth is there is no plight at ASA. Just a bunch of whiners. ALways Super Arrogant is what ASA truly stands for.

And Moron is what D'Angelo truly stand for.

Nice comeback. What are we back in third grade again? Jeez.

Whatever. Moron boy wasn't at CMR when their last contract negotiations were going on, and has ZERO idea what a pissed off pilot group is all about. The CMR pilots made the ASA pilots look like happy little campers. We are all sick of having someone with NO perspective of how this industry operates preach like he has all the answers. I would love to see him stand up in front of some senior CMR pilots and call them "tards" for striking. He is too stupid to know that their unity and pride is the only reason that he has the job that he does.

Pride goweth before the fall. How much did the CMR unity and pissed off group do for them in the long run? They stood strong, but now they are just an expensive part of the portfolio.

You talk like you knew that 9/11 was going to happen and you tried to warn the Comair pilots not to achieve an industry leading contract because they would be in the state they are in now.

Can I borrow you're crystal ball? Things were good then and noone could forsee, except you, Kooter and D'Ho, how the industry would change.

Get off your F'in high horse.

Yes its quite true. I much rather would have seen a contract in the middle at Comair than an industry leading one. We held management hostage unfairly and now it came back to bite us. Karma has a funny way of working things out. Had we had a more competitive contract maybe skywest would have bought us instead. That way they could just let ASA wallow in their own self pity all alone in bankruptcy court. I guarantee you this. Had skywest not bought ASA there would be absolutely no strike talks and nothing but concession talks. No worries though if you guys do hold your company hostage Karma has a funny way of getting back at ya. A pissed off pilot group does help you in one way. The pissed off pilots are in much more danger of losing their medical because of high blood pressure. I guess if they are too dense to see that and don't calm down a bit you will be able to move up a bit when there is no growth. The problem is pilots are always pissed about something and no contract in the world could change that.

By BP was 124/74 at my last medical. Don't think I'm in much danger of losing it over that, do you?

Again, you have ZERO idea what you are talking about. Several years ago we had a VP of Flight Ops that took care of the pilots, and there was an unbelievable amount of trust between the pilots and management. There were almost NO grievances, because the company honored our contract. They treated us with reapect, and we turned in the best operational numbers in years. Then, while your better brothers were on strike to get a FAIR contract, our management decided that he was being too good to the pilot group, and they replaced him with the first in a series of lying, deceiving, greedy, incompetent VPs. Unless you wish to do a little better homework, why don't you shut the hell up about things that you know NOTHING about.

:rolleyes:ATR, just put D'@ss on your ignore list! It makes life A LOT better while reading this board!!!;)

atrdriver,

You forgot pilot haters from failed airlines on you list for those VP's.

Yeah I know, I just didn't want to list every loser that has occupied that position over the last few years...:)

Guys I hope you will reconsider walking out. You are a regional carrier. There are so many other airlines at the regional level, and right now they are just licking their chops to take up ASA's slack the minute you walk.

The boys upstairs with the golden parachutes will close up shop and lock the doors. And you guys will all be back on the street scratching for a good job like I do every day. Or they'll bring in replacement pilots, like Northwest did with mechanics. Run it at a loss for awhile to see what happens. They got nothing to lose.

I've never flown 121 so you'll probably flame me to death. But I just hope you guys dont walk. The days of leveraging the employer are long gone, they ended with PATCO.

With fuel prices going up ASA wont be "making money" forever. Big profits are cyclical. And while you guys just want a fair shake and dont really want to see ASA go under, I can assure you the people running it dont give a flying fluck. They'll put you all out of work tomorrow and not lose a wink of sleep. I'd really hate to see that happen.

Regional Airlines 101 for you.....ASA, along with most regionals, don't pay for their fuel. Ther mainline code-shares cover those costs for them.

:pimp:Anyone that tries flying our roots "IF and WHEN" we walk will be SCABS!!!! Good Luck getting hired ANYWHERE after that one....Say what you will, but I would not want to be on that BLACKLIST floating around, it would be one MISERABLE CAREER!!! Just ask those United guys that were SCABS right along with the Continental Guys. Not the greatest prognosis...!

So how did that guy thats high up in YOUR UNION that was a scab get hired? More union propoganda lies right there ladies and gents. There aren't as many consequences as you think. If the price is right that is meaning they get your dues.

How did this discussion go from ASA's weak crew planning to Browneye's "my life sucks" rant?
