Just finished a 4 day there with the above first day. Easy airport to fly into and out of. Taxing a breeze. CMR rampers parked us without having to stop on every arrival. We blocked out early (5-12 mins), and always arrived early at outstations, 5-25 minutes early. Out of 20 flights, only 2 were were late, both with ATL ties ( late fueling in ATL, waiting on a replacement F/A in PFN coming from ATL, late)
The only outstation w/ problems is EYW. We arrived 20 minutes early, on the ground for 45 minutes, and almost were out late. Slow station.
ASA mtc is there, and very quick to respond as there's ony 5-6 planes there. Catering, fueling, and other servicing done quickly. Food available in the concourse, a 5 minutes walk. No ASA crew meals other than the intitial flight out of ATL.
Crew room not finished yet. You can hang out at the CMR ops building at the end of the concourse on those 2 hour breaks. Outback, Burger King, Starbucks, available on the Delta concourse. Other concourses have more selections.
The HI Select a 5 min ride from MCO. Plenty of restaurants such as Hooters, TGIF, Dennys, Benighans etc within walking distance. In TPA we stay at the Embassy Suites with a mall across the street with plenty of food selections.
