My ASA news. We lost 5 crj-700's to Skywest today. They will be flown under Delta colors and be based in SLC. BL (asa CEO) also says that it is up in the air about the SLC base. This is just the start of the end!

Don't worry Bo, ALPA will protect you. DW has a new fee for departure task force that is working hard on this problem that just snuck up on them.... over the past 30 years.

But do not forget, they do not know how this will affect the SLC base, YEAH RIGHT!

this is not the begining of the end. good grief man, don't be such a puss. it is intended to try to send a message to ASA ALPA pilots though. we will get a contract and it will included some sort of pay rate reduction for the 70 and it will pass. like it or not. thump your chest all you want, just remember I told ya' so. just how much remains to be seen.

it will also included a slight bump up for the 50 and some of the QOL issues we want. overall it'll be a wash pretty much pay wise and QOL will get a little better. for some insight, just see Skywest's deal. don't expect anything to seem positive for us until our deal is done. no need to panic. our growth is coming.

in the mean time, Skywest seems to be going through the GO in a very methodical way getting rid of much of the unneeded trash and fat. they also seem to be trying to do things to make our (pilots) lives a little easier. give it a chance and don't cut off your own nose. the negotiations are moving, slowly but, moving. you think we are under pressure. its actually Skywest/ASA that are under the real pressure. but the cnc will have to be reasonable, and I think they will. there IS a deal for our growth. it WILL be another code .BUT...our contract issues will have to be settled by a certain date.

I want to know the tail numbers--kind of funny that Comair just parked 5 70s that might have come to ASA--are these the 5 aircraft--if so then we are not really losing anything just trying to scare us---GREAT MGNT team in both

ASA and SKYWEST--

PILOTS--
BURN that SKYWEST CASH---FUEL__APU__BRAKES

Very well written Ohplease and I hope you are right. HOPEFULLY there will be little whipsaw between us!!

From what I got in the memo they are supposed to be brand new aircraft.

Could they be down in Tucson? If not does anyone know where the ex-Comair planes went? It would make sense, all they need to do is change the "By" sticker from Comair to Skywest, done deal.

I was just in TUS yesterday, and did not see any 700's parked. Did see a boat load of Indy 50's, and several NWAirlink 50's parked @ Bombardier's facility. Chances are, the SKYW 700's are the CMR planes you speak of.

NEGATIVE!!!!!

Come on guys stop speculating and driving yourselves crazy. These are brand new aircraft right off the assembly line in Montreal. These are additional aircraft, NOT Comair and NOT ASA!

The sky is falling, the sky is falling!!!!

We fly the planes while 'mismanagement' decides where they go.

Hoser

Rumor has it the 700's we were losing on Feb 1, aren't leaving now.

Please tell me you figured it out by now. We haven't lost anything, not even future growth. Step away from the water cooler.

Ok first of all this is whipsaw at its best. For all of the current ASA pilots, except those on reserve, who cares if we lost 5 700's? Yes I too would like to upgrade before I turn 60, but I am not willing to sell my soul to the devil to make that happen. Repeat after me I AM NOT A COMAIR PILOT! We don't have to take consessions on anything. The Skywest pilots are the ones who need to step up and organize because if, and that is a big if, we take a cut who do you think they will come to next. We are already underpaid, and I will never vote for a consessionary contract, even if it means I don't fly airplanes anymore. For all of the spineless cowards out there begging to take consessions so you can upgrade or hold three days, how do you look at yourselves in the mirror? You can tell a hero from a coward from the direction that he runs. Ohplease and a voice of reason, yes I am talking about you cowards!
