Is ASA sending new hires to Salt Lake?

The vacancies that were posted on the last prelim bid were all ATL based. They were mostly cr200 with a few ATR. These would be the vacancies that a new hire would fill

MedFly,

stay in your king air, you will be a happier camper IMHO

Cheers

The only way of getting SLC in teh long run and be safe there is SkyWest. ASA SLC seems to be a hot topic latley.

I'm sure it’s only going to be ATL very soon. The way ASA is about to get screwed by its management is going to cripple them for years to come. The only good thing to come about will be those arrogant pilots will finally have their attitudes put in check after years of throwing Comair under the bus.

It depends on the needs at the moment. You can get SLC as a new hire or shortly after if you want to bid for it.

As others have said though, how long you stay there will be another question. Additionally, SLC is a senior base.

There are at least four or five SLC f/o's that are bidding back to the 200 in ATL. The compnay can choose to replace them or not. There might be some hope for getting SLC as a new hire, just expect to be on reserve for a long time.
