SKW can not fly 70 seaters for Delta right now...

Why would they tell the flight attendants these airplanes are coming and they will be getting trained for the 2 class service.... this is from VP of Inflight..

Our f/a was in recurrent last week and they told them the same thing, by June...

And GENERAL--Delta should have alot more 777 (we have what 6) but NO the pilots had to screw that up at Delta too, lets see hong kong=NO tokyo=NO Dubai=NO ASIA=NO looking back at that 300.00 hour vs 220.00hour, bet you would take that now right. we all do... don't blame everything on regional pilots--you to had a chance to merge and perge everyone--but once again the DL GREATNESS= NO

You can't. That has to be negotiated. It's had not been negotiated, and the MEC rep I just talked to said our negotiators have been told to say NO. We'll see.......

Should we have a bunch more 777s? Yes, but we don't do the ordering. We do have 22 767-400ERs along with them, and they will be going to Europe too this Summer. Did you forget about those? You did. Do we not go to Tokyo? I thought we did from ATL----yes we do. Did we go to Dubai? Yes we did---pre-9-11. We flew JFK to Cairo, and onto Dubai. 9-11 took that away. Will we merge with someone? I bet we will----and we will have 747s after that (guess who?). You need to brush up on your facts....really.

And, I know about the Mechanic layoffs and line station closings. They are doing a lot of that. As far as aircraft, most of the lease negotiations have gone very well. And, you may fly those 79 seaters for United, but for now NOT FOR US. You can speculate all you want, but that doesn't make it true. No agreements have been negotiated. Sorry. You need to sober up, biatch.

Where did you get this info from?? I was under the impression they would start coming in after Delta gave Skywest the aircraft distribution requirements in March.

So yes ASA most likely will have those 79 seaters soon! If you remember i posted this on flightinfo about 2 weeks ago, calling my shot that SKYW had put in an order for -900's.

Well duh!!! That's their plan. I've been telling guys for years that the airlines want to pay you puddlejumper wages for flying bigger and bigger RJ's on mainline routes. Don't act so shocked that they're treating you like $hit..It's a REGIONAL!!
