ASA FO Question

2 questions.

1. What is more senior for ASA FOs, 3 days over weekends, or 4 days during the week with weekends off?

2. What type of seniority holds either of these?

Looks like for August 4 days with weekends off went a little more senior. We didn't have many 4 day lines though; most of the pairings are 3 days. This is for the 200 only -- I'm too lazy to look through the ATR and 700 lines.

#260 was about the last to hold 4 days with weekends off and #340 was about the last to hold 3 days on the weekends. There were 511 FOs on the 200 for August.

Been holding 3 days with partial weekends (sun-tues) for the last three months with 17-18 days off and I've only been here for a year and a half. Good job to Kevin!

I wouldn't get too comfortable with that. The same thing happens every year, summer schedule more flying better lines. Wait until October/November and the lines won't be as good as they are now.

From what I can remember I've seen it as low as 360-370 on the 200. Just look at the difference between this month and last month. 'bout 20 lines.
