Posters in crew lounges tonight, 6 Jan 09

Any speculation on the 'meetings' tomorrow with ASA management types and the pilots/fa groups?

What posters?

You can bet they are about to drop the "F-Bomb."

-Wouldn't be Shocked....

Since you guys only have one base left, that would be my guess too. Sucks, I've been there at a meeting like that. Base closed and oh by the way here's your furlough notice too.... Best of luck guys. Hope the 900's at least reduces the impact.

Hmmmm- doesn't sound too promissing. I would hope for some good news, but that seems to be running in short supply, with the exception of the 900's. Here's hopin'.............

Whats so good about 900's?....they pay the same as your 700 and you get rid of more planes than you get.

The meeting will go like this:

Management: Any of you into Anal?

Crews: No

Management: You are now.

Guess not. explain it to me.
there will be no more 50's....ever.
there will be a reduction in 50's....count on it.
the future of regionals WILL be 900's and in the not too distant future something approaching the 100 seat range (not quite but right up to 100)....bank on that
either ASA gets 900's and loses 50's or ASA loses 50's....which would you consider worse?
